Asa Selects Lisa Gold Schier as Chief Strategy Officer

Asa, a company that connects financial institutions with fintech firms, yesterday confirmed that it has appointed Lisa Gold Schier, former ABA executive, as its new Chief Strategy Officer. In her new role, Schier will develop strategies to accelerate Asa’s growth.

With more than two decades of experience, Schier is one of the well-known names in the US financial sector. During her time at the American Bankers Association, Schier worked in different senior-level positions.

In her career, she worked as a trusted advisor to bankers, technology providers, and consultants across a broad range of areas, including technology trends, digital transformation, and customer experience. Prior to joining the American Bankers Association, she worked at US Bank for approximately four years.

“I have worked with banks and fintechs for years, evaluating technology and developing innovation strategies. What drew me to Asa is their marketplace, which has the power to change how financial institutions, fintechs, and customers access technology,” said Schier. “Asa’s collaborative banking model allows financial institutions of all sizes to connect with a community of vetted fintechs through a trusted, secure network. Not only is this ecosystem enabling institutions and fintechs to join forces in a mutually beneficial way, but it’s also allowing consumers to have a greater choice of and access to financial resources and tools than ever before.”
